Loving your site!! As an English/Australian living in NY, I understand your confusion!! Have to say, Vegemite & peanut butter far outweighs the marmite equivalent!

Hi Anna,

I came across your blog while attempting to research food styling work in London. Ironically, I am an American food lover (from just outside NYC), whose been living in Sydney for a few years, and will be moving to London in 2-3 months.

Would you mind if I asked you a few questions about the food media industry in London? It would be incredibly helpful as I have no contacts in Londontown....

Hope to hear from you soon!

Maddy

PS - I look forward to testing out your Yorkshire puddings when I land and since you're in NY, do you think you could create a Black and White cookie recipe? I have never seen one in Sydney...

The pumpkin muffins look like something that I'm going to try over the weekend. Its amazing to see that a fellow person-working-in-New-York was the one that posted up the recipe. Now I just hope that I don't screw it up!

Hi Anna,
Torrey and I had a great time meeting you and Don at the backyard party.
I wanted to invite you both to Barbes, on the F in Park Slope, tonight at 8pm, my band Norden Bombsight is playing in back. There's a $10 cover I'm afraid.

Hello !
I am a Blogger and web developer (and artist) who has been trying to improve the blogosphere for Bloggers. The problem? Too many irrelevant press releases. Also, hard to make money.
So I invented Blogio, which is a pipeline between marketers & bloggers. The idea is to let marketers choose their niche and write RELEVANT material that bloggers might care about. Also, share the revenue with the Bloggers.
This week, we (finally) officially launched. We’re testing this new concept to see if it works. So, we have our first half dozen orders from marketers. And your blog happens to be in a niche requested by one of these marketers.
I’m asking you to take a look at Blogio. If you like what you see, open an account (there is no charge) and expect good, relevant content from Blogio. If you don’t like what you see – well, I tried. (Your comments & suggestions are welcome).Even though you don’t know me, I ask that you take a leap of faith and consider my sincere goal – to help the blogging movement grow and prosper. Below is a snippet of the communique that we believe you would be interested in reviewing:
Opinionated About Dining Releases Results of First Dining Survey Troisgros ( Roanne , France ) and Urasawa ( Los Angeles ) Named Top Restaurants March 12- Opinionated About Dining (OAD), in its first published fine dining survey, provides a list of the100 best restaurants of North America and Europe selected by well-traveled restaurant goers……
